CSAS symposium to focus on reducing livestock antibiotic use

A special CSAS-sponsored symposium on reducing the use of antibiotics in livestock production will be held on Friday, July 22 during the 2016 ASAS-ADSA®-CSAS-WSASAS Joint Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.

All meeting participants are invited to attend the symposium, which will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm on Friday, July 22 in room 155 A of the Salt Palace Convention Center.

The symposium is entitled “Reducing the Use of Antibiotics in Livestock Production, and will be chaired by Filippo Miglior, Centre for Genetic Improvement of Livestock, University of Guelph; and Eveline M. Ibeagha-Awemu, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Dairy and Swine Research and Development Centre.
